Situated overlooking Lough Corrib, the Glenlo Abbey Hotel is a converted 18th century abbey set in a 138 acre estate, originally home to Galway's tribal leaders, four kilometres from the city centre. The 46 guestrooms, some with lakeside views, feature traditional décor with warm fabrics and dark wood furnishings.
